v0.1 - The Initial Release
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to check out this project. This release essentially amounts to a very early tech demo, so there isn't a whole lot to do yet. This release shows off some core systems, most notably the action queue system! For now, I am essentially just prototyping this idea as game development is not my day job, but if there's enough interest in the project I will commit to releasing a full game. Below is a full list of what's in this preview:

What's next?
What distinguishes Your Life from other life sim games is that Your Life is more focused on your character. Instead of controlling a household, you will control only one active character at a time. That makes the game almost RPG-esque and you can think of your family members as NPC companions who you will have to build relationships with. They will be fully autonomous and will be able to make their own decisions. Though depending on your relationship to them, you might be able to influence those decisions.
With this gameplay model in mind, v0.2 is going to completely overhaul how the game is played. At the moment you control your character very much like any other life sim; You move your camera around and click on the ground to move your character there. In v0.2, the camera is going to follow your character and you will move your character directly using WASD or a gamepad controller. An interaction menu will still appear when interacting with objects, but you will instead need to be standing in the object's "interaction zone" to interact with it.
I hope this change provides a fun and unique experience for the game. As always, since this game is in early development, the possibility of reverting back to the old system is always an option if this change proves to be unfun or clunky. That's why your feedback is so important.
